Community Engagement

Dear Resident,

It was a pleasure to attend the IAG Youth Group at Leigh Family Hub, which provided a valuable opportunity to engage with a group of friendly, open-minded young people and gain insight into their perceptions of policing. The discussion allowed them to share their experiences and views of the police, giving us the chance to explain the reasons behind our actions and decision-making processes. Their feedback was constructive and has provided us with valuable points to consider as we continue to improve our engagement with the community.

It was also great to meet the young people who attended and build positive relationships with them. We were able to demonstrate some of the equipment we use, share experiences from policing, and answer their questions. We hope this helped to further their understanding of the police service and perhaps inspire some of them to consider a future career in policing.
